What is The Midas Consortium?

The proposed Midas Consortium is a collective title for Mobile Operators to be shareholders in a strategic alliance of global mobile operators.

Their combined mobile subscribers, irrespective of network, represent the world's largest marketplace. Midas is able, subject to contract, to supply this massive subscriber-base with interactive global mobile netshopping within the Midas Emporium. (See below)

How is equity to be shared amongst The Midas Consortium?
Equity with each registered Midas Mobile Operator is proportionate to the number of the Operators' subscribers and consequently receives a proportionate share of turnover from Midas Netshopping turnover only. Each mobile operator shall therefore have more available capital to be able to negotiate exclusive 'mobile-packages' in order to maintain and develop its own competition.

What is The Midas Emporium?

The proposed Midas Emporium is a collective title for participating Tenant Companies. Each mobile subscriber freely selects their own Tenant Companies that sell or provide a product or service and constitute a global portfolio from the following non-shareholder groups:-

What is The Midas Forum?

The proposed Midas Forum is a collective title for shareholder and infrastructure groups who may have a vested interest in the Midas Consortium. They remain autonomous and their equity is negotiable and subject to their individual terms and conditions. They are as follows:-

What is The Midas Consilium?

The proposed Midas Consilium is a collective title for the EU Regulatory Bodies that may be pertinent in Midas territories. (See Section 11)

What is the Midas Mission? (See Section 3)

The Midas mission is to construct the above-mentioned consortia, focusing on increasing their respective turnover and reducing their operating costs and debt. Also to enable the above consortia to participate and profit in the world's largest marketplace.

The Midas Consortia wishes to develop a mobile software device that can be embedded in every mobile phone on manufacture.

Midas together with the proposed network partners wishes to extend into new mobile territories in order to provide broadband services over a WiMAX network that will cover un-tapped parts of Russia and Eastern European and Asian territories. Midas will be able to offer broadband, voice and value-added services to residential and corporate customers. It can also be 'tailor-made' to incorporate indiginous markets in the national language of their local subscribers and provide them with Mobile TV Content and brand-name products that they cannot purchase.

Midas Marketing

As the mobile market-base is already established each mobile operator informs the subscriber on presentation of his/her bill, including any additional information of the advantages of being a Midas subscriber.

Midas Mobile Pilot

We wish to test a seamless broadband handset that switches between WiMax and WiFI and enables any subscriber, from any operator-network, to roam seamlessly and integrate with GPRS/CDMA2000 and WLAN networks in order to deploy Midas Netshopping and multimedia value-added services. The Midas Forum will be able to provide global network coverage with a single billing for all Midas transactions.

We wish to develop a Midas Mobile Pilot for content production for Mobile TV in concert with the proposed Midas Consortium, Midas Emporium and Midas Forum. When all due dilgence is complete and to the satisfaction of the proposed consortia we wish to pilot a new mobile TV and multimedia broadcast service. This would then be supported by the Consortia Shareholders who wish to capitalise on the potential leverage, as yet untapped, from the mass markets of combined subscribers from global mobile operators in the Consortia.

Strategic Partnership with Development Costs

The Midas Board are prepared to consider equity-funding for development costs with certain private entrepreneurs together with a portfolio of private equity. Midas seeks collaborative partnerships with solution and network providers, ISP's, WISP's, system integrators and handset manufacturers. Also there may be potential in a possible capital injection in return for collaboration with infrastructure development for fixed-line integration and with mobile broadband and wireless technologies especially in Asian territories. Below is a blueprint for possible Midas revenue streams.

The future of Midas is to pioneer a 24/7 service that can encapsulate Netshopping, Film, TV, Music, Sport, News, etc., with under-utilized 3G spectrum to deliver very high-quality mobile TV and Midas multimedia services, to a massive global Midas subscriber-base.

The proposed Midas Consortia shall not only pioneer global Midas Netshopping and herald the dawn of a new-age of Mobile TV, but shall introduce a new economic era brought on by new global market forces from this most-profitable commercial network in the world's biggest emerging marketplace.
